Roster Desk helps lecturers compile end-of-semester results quickly and accurately. Instead of retyping scores from practical sheets, test scripts and exam scripts into a spreadsheet, you build each course roster once, bring in the scores, and let Roster Desk work out totals, letter grades and PASS/FAIL. When you are done, it produces the official Grade Report and Class Roster in the format exams offices expect, ready to print, sign and submit. 1.1 How it works Build the roster. Import last semester's roster or a class list from Excel, paste a list of names, or add students one at a time. Students with registration numbers are listed first; the rest follow in alphabetical order. Set the weighting. Choose how the course is scored according to the NBTE curriculum, for example Lab 40 / Test 20 / Exam 40. Enter the scores. Type them in, import them from Excel, or (online edition) photograph the score sheet. Scores marked out of a different total, such as a practical out of 60, are converted automatically. Download the roster. Get the official roster as an Excel workbook or a PDF, with your institution's name and logo on every page. Prepare the comprehensive result. Combine a class's grades from all its courses into the Examinations Comprehensive Grade List, with each student's GPA and remark worked out for you.
