User Guide

Jobtins helps you find products and services from local businesses and order them from the business that sells them. This guide takes you from your first search to a finished order. You do not need an account.

1. Find what you need

Search

Type what you are looking for into the search bar at the top of any page ("Search products and services") and press Enter. You can search for an item, a brand or a service.

Browse

Tap Products to see every product and service, or Businesses to see the businesses themselves.

Narrow it down with filters

On the Products page, use the filters to get to the right items. On a phone, tap Filters to open them.

  • Show: products and services, products only, or services only.
  • Business type and Service type: a kind of business, or a kind of service.
  • Business: one particular business.
  • Category: a group of items.
  • State and City or area: businesses near you.
  • Price (₦): a minimum price, a maximum price, or both.
  • Rating: 4.5, 4 or 3 stars and up.
  • Badge: businesses and items that have earned a particular badge.
  • In stock only: hide items that are sold out.

Tap Apply filters. Your choices appear above the results as small labels; tap the × on a label to remove it, or tap Clear to start again.

Sort the results

Use Sort by to order the results: Best match, Newest, Top rated, Most reviewed, Price: low to high, Price: high to low, or Name: A to Z.

2. Look closely at an item

Tap any item to open its page.

  • The photo is shown at a comfortable size. Tap it to enlarge it, and tap the × (or press Esc on a computer) to close it.
  • Next to it you will see the name, the rating, the price, and whether the item is in stock.
  • Product details below it gives the description and facts such as category, size and who sells it.
  • On a phone, the price and an Order now button stay at the bottom of the screen as you scroll.

If an item is out of stock, the page says so and the button reads Check availability, so you can ask the business whether more is coming.

3. Order

  1. Tap Order from the business's name (or Order now at the bottom of your phone).
  2. You go straight to that same item in the business's own catalogue on Reseeti. Tap Add to order.
  3. Follow the steps there to finish your order. Some businesses accept online payment, and others arrange payment with you directly.
  4. The business receives your order, confirms it, and delivers it or arranges pickup.

Remember: the price and availability on the business's catalogue page when you order are the ones that count.

4. Meet the businesses

Tap Businesses to see who is on Jobtins. You can filter by Business type, Offers this service, state and city, rating and badge, and sort by Name: A to Z, Top rated, Most reviewed, Most listings or Newest.

Open a business to see its details, badges and rating, and everything it lists. Visit catalogue takes you to its own shop on Reseeti, and WhatsApp starts a chat.

5. Reviews and ratings

Other customers' opinions appear under Reviews on item and business pages.

To leave your own:

  1. Scroll to the review box and tap the stars. A star rating is required.
  2. If you like, add your name and a few words about your experience.
  3. Tap Submit review.

Your review may appear straight away, or after our team has checked it. You will see a message telling you which. You can review each item once. Please be honest and polite, and do not include phone numbers, addresses or links. Reviews that contain them are held back for checking.

6. Badges

Some businesses and items carry small coloured badges, such as Verified Business. Our team awards them. A badge is a helpful signal, but it is not a guarantee, so always read the details before you order.

7. Put Jobtins on your phone or computer

You can add Jobtins to your home screen or desktop so that it opens like an app, with no app store and no sign-up.

  • Android phones, and computers using Chrome or Edge: tap Install when the card appears. If you dismissed it, use Install the app at the bottom of any page.
  • iPhone and iPad: tap the Share button in your browser, then Add to Home Screen.
  • Facebook, Instagram and TikTok: these apps open links in their own window, which cannot add to the home screen. Open the link in your normal browser first.
  • No prompt? Some browsers, such as Firefox on a computer, cannot install websites. You can bookmark Jobtins instead.

If you lose your connection, Jobtins shows a short "You are offline" page, and you can try again when you are back online.

8. Shop safely

  • Pay only through the options shown on the business's catalogue page, or as you have arranged directly with the business. Jobtins will never ask you for a payment, a password, card details or a bank PIN.
  • For anything expensive or urgent, confirm the price and availability with the business before you pay.
  • Check your items when they arrive.
  • Do not share personal details in reviews.
  • If something looks wrong or misleading, tell us through the Contact page.

9. Common questions

Do I need an account? No. You can search, browse, order and review without one.

The price at checkout is different from the price I saw. The business's catalogue price when you order is the one that applies. Prices on Jobtins are refreshed regularly, so they can be slightly behind.

I cannot find what I am looking for. Try fewer or simpler words, check the spelling, remove some filters, or browse by Businesses.

Who delivers my order, and who handles returns? The business you ordered from. Contact it first. Your rights as a consumer under Nigerian law still apply.

My review has not appeared. Reviews may be checked by our team before they show. If yours contains a phone number, email address or link, it is held back for checking.

How do I remove my review? Tell us through the Contact page, with the name of the business or item and the name you used.

10. For businesses

If you use Reseeti to manage your invoices, stock and online catalogue, you can show your products and services on Jobtins.

  1. Open your Catalogue page in Reseeti.
  2. Switch on List on Jobtins. Your catalogue must be switched on and have a WhatsApp number, and your plan must include the online catalogue.
  3. Keep your catalogue accurate: your items, photos, prices and stock are refreshed from it regularly. An item you hide in your catalogue disappears from Jobtins at the next refresh.
  4. Orders arrive in your Reseeti account, as they do for any catalogue order. Switch List on Jobtins off at any time to stop appearing.
